Proagriwax™ R-Atlantic

Proagriwax R-Atlantic is a wax typically used for nursery field in temperate regions, and for cold storage in Autumn.

This wax formulation balances the requirements for heat resistance in temperate regions and hardness in the nursery fields, with the necessary flexibility for cold storage.

How To Use:

The wax should be melted and kept in a temperature-controlled melting pot between 83 - 85°C. It is important to avoid higher temperatures as this might damage the plant. Wax is applied by dipping the plant in to the molted wax. This should be done in a rapid movement so that the plant is submerged in the warm wax for a minimal amount of time, approximately 0,5 second. The plant material, both the rootstock and scion, should be cold and moist when the wax is applied. The plant should be submerged in cold water for 4-5 seconds directly after dipping.

Color:

Proagriwax R-Atlantic has a red color.

Consumption:

Typical consumption is 2 - 4 gram of wax per plant.

Packaging:

The product is supplied as slabs with a weight of approximately 5 kg each. The slabs are packed either in 20 kg paper boxes or pallet boxes containing 780 kg.
